Stefanie V. Plaumann has been practicing law in New York federal and state courts for over 15 years. She spent her early career representing federal defendants in complex
criminal matters, including federal death penalty cases. For the past ten years, she has focused on a combination of federal criminal defense and commercial litigation. She is a savvy litigator with a love of writing, research and crafting innovative arguments in support of her clients. She has been teaching at the higher education level in both the classroom and online settings for over seven years, with primary areas of teaching emphasis in Criminal Law, Tort Law and Legal Writing and Research. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001 and is also admitted to practice in the US District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. For the past six years, she has also served as Paralegal Program Coordinator for multiple nationally recognized schools working with both online and campus students around the country.
